# First native Ubuntu26.04 core and CLI gate Codex-956atf `/root`, 2026-09-11. **Native Linux numeric26/26 and CLI12/12 pass**, with no failed or ignored tests. The built CLI also launches its help command successfully. This establishes native compilation and CLI execution on this host's Ubuntu26.04 WSL2; it is separate from desktop, WSLg and release acceptance. **Later user direction,15:28 UTC:** defer all further Linux builds/checks until the user instructs us that WSL2 networking is resolved. The commands recorded here were already terminal and are not being rerun. Windows development continues. ## Exact inputs and environment Source is the complete Git archive of `8d55d2d2eb05aed826b96a917cf776e1d8c3b690`,14,561,280 bytes, SHA256 `B7A11CC7F0AC56C0F8FDED46B040665AE75EE55775AE429DFC8579A5D51EAD57`. The guest independently checked that hash immediately before extracting into the new native ext4 directory `/opt/arcadia-956atf/source-8d55d2d`. It deliberately excludes later parent-focus, isolated canvas and schema8 changes. The [dependency report](release-linux-dependencies-956atf-20260911.md) records signed Ubuntu metadata, all77 package hashes, actual native prerequisites, exact Rust1.98.1 components and all462 Cargo.lock crate hashes. No insecure repository override was used. The guest's network remains unavailable after the user's [VirtioProxy trial](release-wsl-956atf-20260911.md); these builds used the verified offline cache and did not depend on network access. Actual native target: `x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu`, Rust1.98.1 commit48a229ceaefd4985c50990b14116b6d856af0985, Cargo1.98.1 commit797e8a9bca276c1c9f9f738d2a20f484fa4eea9d, LLVM22.1.8, Ubuntu26.04 LTS, Linux6.18.33.2-microsoft-standard-WSL2. Root selected `/opt/arcadia-956atf/env.sh`, CARGO_HOME `/opt/arcadia-956atf/cargo`, one Cargo job and target directory `/opt/arcadia-956atf/target-8d55d2d`. Windows core Clippy had finished before the first Linux Cargo started; no worker compiled. ## Actual execution The checked-in-source gate script began15:04:15 UTC and ended15:09:53 UTC with exit0. Both commands used the development test profile, `--locked --offline`, and `--test-threads=1`: | Command | Result | | --- | --- | | `cargo test --locked --offline -p oa-core --lib analysis_numeric::tests -- --test-threads=1` | Warning-free compile3m07s;26 passed,46 filtered;0.14s. | | `cargo test --locked --offline -p oa-cli -- --test-threads=1` | Warning-free compile2m17s; all12 source_cli integration tests passed;0.51s. Unit/doc targets contain zero tests and are not counted as integration passes. | The CLI integration tests execute its real command-line binary against temporary source projects. They cover complete example validation/stabilization/fixed point, cross-module live alias rename with preserved identity, raw Unicode errors, CRLF/comments/no-op bytes, captured dependency conflicts, pending journals, missing identity/migration, and rejected operations preserving source. Root then copied the CLI and both meaningful test executables into a new immutable guest directory `/opt/arcadia-956atf/evidence-8d55d2d`. `readelf -h` verifies an ELF64 x86-64 position-independent executable; `ldd` resolves libgcc_s, libc and the Linux dynamic loader with no missing dependency. The copied `arcadia --help` exits0 and lists check, lint, stabilize and rename-alias with explicit entry-file and preview-before-write behavior. The recurring root systemd-user-session warning appeared before this later shell; it did not prevent execution. No GUI conclusion follows from that CLI pass. ## Preserved artifacts | Immutable guest artifact (mode755) | Bytes | SHA256 | | --- | ---: | --- | | `arcadia` | 22,443,896 | `45B2D45394AC37308D997818D4576BB257161C8AA5874D2A58C95E3B17C9B2E1` | | `oa_core-7e4faa0b9230bf9e` | 25,334,992 | `4983086C367B3BD59267DDA2051EE2CE75E8425B748E15EE343CE6A6B62FFC49` | | `source_cli-d12bbba02fad28f5` | 23,318,824 | `AB08F3643D5F1E068E640EF3984C92A9A3450434D3569F61005DDFAE8A672D9C` | Windows private `.local/wsl-956atf-20260911/` retains original source archive, `build-core-cli-8d55d2d.sh/log` and `capture-core-cli-8d55d2d.sh/log`. [Gitea346](http://217.177.34.108:3000/sorokin.oleg.edu/ARCADIA-Studio/issues/1#issuecomment-346) coordinates the actual result; Codex-ytr83r retains Linux packaging/release coordination. No duplicate release was created. Full current-source desktop/server builds, supported Linux graphical/portal workflows, optimized packages, Ubuntu24.04 compatibility and clean-environment release launch remain separate gates. This development CLI is not a finished Linux release or evidence for the isolated schema8 model.
