# Fresh-process package reopen review

Independent native review by `/root/ux_critique`, 2026-10-01 America/Los_Angeles, using Computer Use `@oai/sky`. Continuation of [the first package session](../native/review.md).

Parent launched fresh PID 3268 from the same extracted `ArcadiaStudio-0.2.0-preview.compact-help.20261001-x86_64-pc-windows-gnullvm/arcadia-studio.exe`, with system-only PATH and an unrelated cwd. Desktop source is `6e7c4ddaf0775198384a8c4882809ea8e14b2976`; executable SHA-256 is `D55ECAD4B0F75C0C9C26625E5441BEF9C9360890B65BC13236C6EBFAF03D631E`. Reviewer independently selected the newly returned native app window; no launch or kill was performed by the reviewer.

## Actual workflow and result

1. From fresh Home, clicked pointer Open and entered exactly `C:/ar-compact-01a0d717/.local/package39/working/saved/qa-saved.arcadia` in the native file dialog. Opened that entry, without using recent/recovery shortcuts. Evidence: `01-reopen-exact-path.png`.
2. OA Allocation loaded with `All changes saved`, 94 objects and 62 links. Clicked the renamed Assess activity. Inspector displayed exact Name `Assess pressure alarm QA LEFT XYRIGHT`, stable alias `oa_assess`, Performer `Control room`, Parent `Restore safe pressure`, and identity `61f7bbfb-74a4-5540-9182-2583dfb27a49`. Evidence: `02-reopened-exact-name-properties.png`.
3. The UI displayed two model checks, matching the first session after the declared rename, whereas the pristine model displayed one. This observation is retained rather than claiming every count stayed identical. No new model or property changes were made during this reopen session.
4. Opened F1 Help, observed the ownership/allocation topic, and used Escape to return. The same activity remained selected with the persisted properties and canvas context. Evidence: `03-reopened-help.png`.
5. Clicked Save all without editing. UI remained saved and footer reported `All source files saved`. Evidence: `04-reopened-no-change-save.png`. Byte-for-byte no-op validation is the parent's independent oracle, not inferred from this status.
6. Closed normally with Alt+F4. Fresh native window enumeration confirmed no extracted-package app window remained. No crash dialog was observed. Parent was notified that the GUI is available for the separate #38 review; reviewer did not interact with #38 or any other application.

No blocking native defect was observed in this reopen/no-change-save scope. Parent owns the second-process exit/stdout/stderr checks and the post-close full-file comparison. Screenshots and visible properties support the interaction findings; they do not prove complete model equality by themselves.
