# Lifecycle header correction: scoped native observations Source `865483b4c66361a01fe0d9e731859220bafb4136`; old extracted Windows Studio SHA256 `BF9C2E618D4A4AC55E6A7EBB3738736659FC35A6465522C7B5AB975238938808`, PID 8680/window 5702564. Root recorded the actual native workflow in `header-native-observations-20260911.json` at 2026-09-11 20:27:41.299 UTC. This archive does not establish a57c334 GUI acceptance. **Observed wide Latin/CJK header text is bounded in the recorded cases. Unicode shortening is not fully accepted:** scalar truncation visibly drops a combining accent and splits a joined emoji sequence. The complete source names and identities remain unchanged. These are separate presentation findings; source equality does not establish correct shortened glyph appearance. ## Actual case coverage The following is root's recorded native coverage, not an inferred four-name × size × zoom matrix. Native findings are attributed to the preserved observation record; this archiver independently checked image dimensions and evidence bytes, without issuing UI input or rerunning the oracle. | Name/layer | Recorded observations | | --- | --- | | 18 W, OA | Wide 1442×932 at 100%; lane/Create identity selection; 195% partly viewport-clipped then horizontal scroll revealing contained header/card and expected selections. Actual minimum outer 1102×732, Fit 69%, small displayed 51% (51.2% actual) with both labels contained and expected lane/Create aliases. | | 18 界, SA | Minimum 100% with viewport clipping, horizontal scroll exposing bounded label/capsule, full name in Properties and expected lane/Create aliases; minimum Fit 69%; maximized Fit recomputed 100%; maximized 195% with bounded header/capsule but a final CJK glyph potentially cut at the inset. | | Combining-name, OA | At 100%, shortened label drops an accent at the scalar cutoff while remaining bounded. Lane Properties retains the full accented name and UUID `5ceab400-0000-4000-8000-00000000044e`; Create selects `life_oa_110`. No complete minimum/zoom matrix was run. | | Joined-emoji name, SA | At 100%, shortened joined sequence appears as a woman glyph plus ellipsis. Properties retains the full name and UUID `5ceab400-0000-4000-8000-000000000836`; Create selects `life_sa_110`. No complete minimum/zoom matrix was run. | The preserved screenshot sequence is 61–95 inclusive. Screenshot 61 records the reported wide-fixture source-project open; 86 reports All source files saved. Screenshots 87–88 cover cluster filename entry/open, and 95 reports All source files saved. Historical filename corrections are verified from the JPEG dimensions: - `70-header-wide-oa-minimum-195.jpg` is **1442×932**, not minimum. The attempted drag moved the canvas scrollbar without resizing. - Screenshot 71 is **1102×932**: width changed, height still tall. - Screenshot 72 is **1102×732**, the confirmed minimum outer size. - The standard maximize action produced **2246×1232**; screenshot 84's Fit result is 100%, not a reused 69%. Root also observed the old Scrollable retaining earlier offsets when changing from Fit back to 100%. Fit showed the complete scenario; returning to higher zoom restored prior clipping. That is separate from text escaping its card. The recovered resize attempts and exact observations remain unchanged in the JSON. ## Source and receipt verification Four closed log/status pairs report exit 0 with identical corresponding PASS text, empty stderr, valid start/completion times and verified argument scopes. The before-admission receipts compare each original fixture with itself; the after-passive-save receipts compare its before/after files. | Fixture | Complete before/after physical map | Passive-save receipt completion UTC | | --- | --- | --- | | header-wide | 2 files, 20,214 bytes, exact SHA256 equality | 20:24:46.466 | | header-clusters | 2 files, 20,196 bytes, exact SHA256 equality | 20:27:05.948 | Each of the four adjacent checkpoint receipts matches its entire two-file directory. Existing oracle output reports all identities, fields, reachable source and physical bytes unchanged. This archiver independently repeated only physical-file/receipt comparisons, not parser/model-oracle execution. Full names in source were not shortened or repaired to obtain containment. ## Existing correction and predictions The [header overflow correction record](../../lifecycle-header-overflow-correction-ytr83r-20260911.md) explains the fixed card inset, viewport intersection and child-frame transform. Its existing shortening rule remained unchanged, so clipping may cut a final glyph or hide the ellipsis; it was never complete grapheme-aware shortening. The [typography fixture predictions](../lifecycle-native-ytr83r-20260911/typography-predictions.json) preserve exact four-name fixture changes, identity and byte predictions. The [historical typography review](../../release-lifecycle-typography-review-ytr83r-20260911.md) identified scalar-count and cluster-splitting risks before these observations. Those records keep their original historical scope; this archive supplies the later bounded native evidence without rewriting them. ## Frozen archive 56 payloads, **4,669,130 bytes**: 35 exact JPEG screenshots, eight closed log/status files, eight checkpoint source files, four adjacent checkpoint receipts and the immutable observation JSON. Filenames, extensions, CRLF/source bytes and historical labels are preserved. `manifest.json` records every original path, byte size, original/copy SHA256 and original modification time. `verification.json` records the four receipt checks, both complete before/after comparisons, checkpoint receipts and all image dimensions. `readback.json` independently rereads all 56 original/copy payloads against the frozen manifest: zero discrepancies. No binaries, ZIPs, live process logs, working directories, profiles or unrelated evidence were copied. No source, Git/index, compiler, Cargo, GUI, Gitea or WSL action occurred during archival. Comprehensive corrected grapheme appearance, remaining cluster samples, contextual workflows, packaged Home/Guide/close and new canvas native acceptance remain pending; no issue/release closure is claimed.
