Independent native evidence review — dd39, frames 01–41

Bounded result: no verified actionable mismatch found in the reviewed lifecycle and palette evidence. This is a review of recorded native behavior, not a new app run. Extended after the original 01–36 review to include frames 37–41, topology preservation receipts and recorded normal process closure.

Provenance and method

Reviewed every original PNG and JSON sidecar numbered 01–41 in the trial evidence, using view_image on the original files. Independently checked all 41 PNG SHA-256 values against their sidecars, all 12 original preparation and four separate topology preparation entries against current bytes/sizes, and all 14 checkpoint file entries across five semantic receipts. All matched. Read launch/preparation, fixture identities and expected cases, strong preflight result/output, and the actual oracle comparison implementation.

Launch identifies desktop source dd39e1fdc13f04f18975a70736d2ed7f752a6df2, executable SHA-256 4eefe66eb3b6c315c11cfc1ac933b07515abaac069f5ce4f4c0a04fe7c53fdd2, PID 8736. Full-suite evidence is explicitly reused from e44f07565cc7599d5c5a15a6b5599b4f5d105718 under the exact one-file test-only iterator/dereference delta, with current style/strict/GUI gates; this review makes no dd39 full-suite claim.

The fixture's archived strong preflight passed with six scenarios, 61 elements, five relations, zero Errors and 18 intentional warnings. Its fixture SHA-256 998a2fd3e2474e72fc013f4da422e49bad61e118de62eccfbd71bf06b863ce7f matches the prepared and saved lifecycle source. That admission/roundtrip evidence remains distinct from desktop paint and hit behavior.

Observed acceptance evidence

Scope Original frames Review
OA nested calls, birth/death 02–06 Outer shoulder selects bound_1040; nested receive endpoint selects bound_1030. Visible Inspector aliases agree with the different selected shapes. The outer border remains continuous through C2/R2/R1 label bands. Create capsule and Delete cross select bound_1005/bound_1070; clipped long captions stay inside the capsule/header.
Self lifecycle 08–10 Self Create clears the preceding action. Call activation starts at receive and ends at reply send. Selected activation and exact reply endpoint show distinct bound_3040/bound_3050 Inspector identities. Dashed reply, solid activation, self-loop and death marker remain distinguishable.
Conditional death 11–13 Pre-frame activation, terminated shutdown piece and short open sibling piece remain separate. Selecting the open piece shows originating bound_4040. No resumed solid activation is visible below ALT; path-dependent lifetime cues remain visible.
SA nested/binding 14–16 Outer shoulder selects bound_2040, with continuous exposed border. Inspector shows Pressure check API / Check pressure, synchronous allocation bound_220, and exchange bound_223. Screenshots only expose these selected fields; full value preservation rests on the oracle/preflight evidence.
Incomplete and unresolved 18–22 Incomplete reply stays a repair card, selects bound_5050, and exposes sender Not assigned, receiver bound_5001, correlation bound_5040. No detached fabricated arrow is visible. Unresolved bound_6040 remains selectable with question/ellipsis cues and no fabricated activation rectangle.
Chooser and menu 07, 17, 23–25 Scenario picker text is legible on its dark target row. Chooser target has a visible bottom rule below secondary text including descenders, plus popup/trigger boundaries. Context-menu outline encloses Properties then Open source; the former outline disappears. Disabled counterpart action is muted. The subsequent source declaration is bound_2040, matching menu target C1, despite the previously selected canvas occurrence being bound_6040.
Source and Inspector selection 25–26, 34 Selected source glyphs remain legible in single-line and multiline selections. Inspector Name selection and focused outline remain visible. Monochrome syntax and declaration reveal at the editor's bottom edge are retained limitations, not newly verified regressions.
Minimum window and overview 29–31 Captured 1102×732 window includes chrome; 100% scene clips while Fit remains available. Fit is 60%, not 66%. Full overview and legend are visible. Frame 30 correctly records R2 bound_1060 endpoint priority; frame 31 shows C1 bound_1040 shoulder selection and continuous outer outline. The recorded x507 lifeline hit versus x509 shoulder hit honestly exposes the few-pixel target limitation.
Compact architecture/state 32–36 Authored 150% architecture shows visible performer/header/activity borders. Selection agrees with delete_10 and tree target. At 102%, state-machine, dashed region and state remain distinct; entry-action row has a complete inset outline and readable text, with Inspector relation delete_54, Entry phase, and expected source/target.
Process reference previews 38–40 At 100%, ordinary work boxes, separate reference frames, inner A/B/C boxes and their connecting edges are visible in both OA and SA. Selected First assessment has a distinct enclosing outline and Inspector oa_r1; clicking the B preview selected its containing reference in this build. Frame 40 identifies sa_caller. These frames support boundary/readability acceptance, not inner-definition navigation or a complete independent process-topology semantic oracle.

Preservation receipts and interpretation

Lifecycle after save, lifecycle after reopen, and compact after save all record exit 0; each corresponding original log contains PASS same: complete Project and exact SourceBundle restored. Their checkpoint files match recorded hashes and prepared baseline bytes. Lifecycle has one source file plus three supporting fixture files; compact preserves both project.arcadia and included notes.arcadia. Supporting fixture files are byte checks, not extra SourceBundle members.

The actual oracle source rejects source/discovery Errors, detached/invalid buffers and normalization (lines 17–37); check asserts complete Project and exact SourceBundle equality (lines 55–57). This supplies stronger preservation evidence than screenshots/object counts, while warning admission remains intentional. These equality receipts establish saved snapshot equality with the prepared baseline; they do not independently prove every GUI click or renderer semantic rule. Native saved/reopened status is separately visible in frames 27–28. Compact has a save receipt; no compact reopen claim is made.

Extension: frame 37 independently shows compact All source files saved. Frames 38–41 use the separately prepared source7 topology fixture; its admission explicitly states that same-mode equality is not independent canonical or GUI acceptance. Topology after save and after close each pass whole-Project/exact-SourceBundle comparison and preserve both project.arcadia and rationale.arcadia byte-for-byte. The latter starts at 02:35:49 UTC, after closure records PID 8736 exit 0 at 02:35:43.429487 UTC. This after-close receipt removes dependence on the earlier save-capture timing. Frame 41 shows All source files saved with 43 objects, nine links and 20 checks. Final stdout/stderr files are both zero bytes. Normal Alt+F4 is the operator's recorded action; exit identity/time/code are separately recorded by the launcher.

Residual limits

This single desktop capture environment cannot establish legibility on arbitrary limited monitors or all degradation modes. The 60% scene is an overview: tiny labels and narrow exposed activation shoulders are not evidence of comfortable editing at that scale. No grayscale/degraded-monitor test was performed here. Chooser frame 17 has a single compatible entry; its native frame does not establish multiple-row keyboard cycling or Enter identity by itself. Menu movement and resulting source identity have separate frames. Architecture evidence contains no ordinary routed edge or warning route, so it cannot close deferred non-hue route-warning discoverability. State evidence covers the entry action row, not every relation-row variant. Complete topology-semantic acceptance and the separate navigation/palette union source candidate remain outside this bounded review.
