Capture format addendum
The frozen independent review lifecycle-palette-native-independent-review-20260913.md (SHA-256 3869d71bb6f13276de84bf1ab2eaff2424ce865999206cb42b82fb95ae289de6) describes the 41 originals as PNGs following their .png filenames. Subsequent archive validation identified JPEG/JFIF payloads in all 41 files: the capture helper assigned the wrong filename extension.
The reviewer viewed the original image bytes and verified their SHA-256 values against sidecars; neither the visual review nor those byte-identity checks depended on PNG encoding. No image-format validation was performed by that review. Read its references to PNGs as references to the original image files named .png. Preserve the originals and frozen report without conversion or rewriting. This addendum corrects the evidence label, not the observed-image conclusions.
