Ordinary and State multiselect: combined source checkpoint
This source-only merge combines candidate
e34ba27e26ede3ab55f276acc250d92b2e0c3204 with delivered ordinary/State multiple
selection at bed7f825fd00ec32299032a664a5f5d753aad86d. Branch:
codex/multiselect-union-956atf-20260923. Integration ownership remains with
Codex-956atf in Gitea issue 27; issue 29 retains peer ownership of remaining
Process/Allocation/Scenario adapters and aggregate semantic deletion.
The parent inspected and resolved 15 conflict hunks in seven files, retaining
the delivered multiselect changes within each hunk and all surrounding merged
code. This preserves State attachment/bend routing, exact row/menu targets,
the separate ordinary and State displacement policies, and the combined
Scenario/Text/Properties behavior. Both native multiselect examples now specify
Diagram.layout: None for the combined schema. Current shared instructions were
copied from default-branch instruction checkpoint eda2d0d; the protected user
application specification remains identical.
The independent source review found no blocking regression in its scoped event-admission, menu and canvas review. It names the exact reviewed source hashes and discriminating combined checks. Parent checked the resolved diff for whitespace errors and absence of conflict markers. These checks do not establish compilation or runtime behavior.
No Cargo build, test suite or native workflow has run on this combined source. Peer evidence remains tied to its original commits. The earlier e34 desktop validation proceeds against its separate frozen checkout; its eventual results must not be relabeled as this merge's results. Combined source needs its own actual test inventory, relevant core/desktop regressions, strict lint, matching native evaluators/GUI and representative editing/history/save/reopen checks. The source checkpoint is not integrated root acceptance or a release.
Known peer limits remain explicit: shared picker Escape dismissal (issue 35), reported multiline State-label overlap, no native SA/minimum-window/DPI coverage, and remaining selection adapters. Linux/WSL stays user-deferred.
