Independent candidate documentation scope review
No material mismatch found in the candidate package acceptance note or RELEASE-NOTES. One minor precision recommendation was sent to parent: replace “The offline engineering guide remained usable at minimum size” with “The offline engineering guide opened and remained readable at minimum size.” The saved capture proves the latter directly; guide search/topic-navigation tasks are not demonstrated by that retained sequence. No documentation edits made here.
Verified source cbc49a7802fb1bba0dd284fd904c700a0703ae70; both actual Cargo artifacts have opt_level0, debuginfo0, debug_assertions/overflow_checks true and test false. Current validation records cover805 desktop and501 core/server tests and517 raw inputs per gate. Package SHA/bytes and both executable identities agree across completed producer/checker/launch/runtime receipts. Checker counts2585 source files,559 package files,266 selected packages,263 registry packages,2 fonts,485 license files,58 Rust target libraries,17 links and16506 readbacks match the actual PASS receipt.
Runtime receipt contains23 exact named checks, the stated end timestamp, two intentional exit1 stop records, package-local executable and unrelated private cwd. The candidate correctly distinguishes its Unicode empty-model persistence scenario from a nonempty engineering model and distinguishes explicit termination from crash/graceful shutdown.
Native launch and closure match PID8424, GUI819965, Windows-only child PATH, private profile/unrelated cwd, stated start/end times, exit0, empty output logs and unchanged package/ZIP. There are66 capture metadata states, with multiple image surfaces in some states; the text correctly says capture states rather than66 JPEGs. Eight saved-state oracle results are all exit0: simple baseline/expected/baseline/expected and representative baseline/baseline/expected/expected at the stated checkpoints. Physical file counts4 and37 and the30 reachable-source oracle result agree. These receipts expressly inspect saved disk, and the candidate retains that scope.
Directly viewed021,022,023 show selected assess_damage in the original typed reference, first x changing only that selected alias, then Text Undo restoring it.065 shows representative reopened graphical Properties with alias oa_restore_pressure and engineering name Restore safe water pressure, plus94 objects/62 links.066 shows the guide at the same1102x732 outer bounds recorded by the minimum-size metadata. This sampled review does not independently replay every preview navigation step; the full native workflow remains its retained record. The text explicitly avoids claiming simple reopen or representative first-key behavior from this run and avoids importing older GUI2486 results.
The known Details→Preview limitation is accurately scoped to a missing preview visibility/destination generation transition: the inspected Details branch updates details/detail_segment/content without changing preview destination. The candidate calls it an acknowledged static P2, not executed corruption, and says this delayed-operation round-trip was not exercised. It does not imply the separate correction is in source cbc49a7.
Future native/runtime archive links are the parent's intended publication paths pending archive creation, not claimed verified publication. Their availability must be completed by the parent's planned final artifact/link check. The package evidence archive already has its separate independent review. Development-profile, unfinished OA/SA/Text/peer-work, paused Linux and native latency limitations remain explicit.
Exact inspected document/receipt/image bindings are in documentation-scope-review.json. This review ran no build, application, GUI action, Git or network operation and changed no candidate document or artifact.
Closed native archive follow-up
Parent applied the precise guide wording; readback confirmed. Independent bounded standard ZIP inspection of closed-native-1 passed: SHA256 effc8ba718f89a1b2a8576a290ee2327ddd933e05a5a316a8ac94f36b3705a9a, 5,897,544 bytes,305 members. Verified all CRCs/member hashes and303 original file readbacks,66 capture metadata states and all73 referenced JPEGs, exact eight step-to-baseline/expected mappings, each original oracle log hash and physical snapshot, and all baseline/expected/final fixture membership. Final41 physical files equal authored expected snapshots. The versioned native ZIP is byte-identical. No original helper/runtime rerun; external payloads were not rehashed in this follow-up. The portable builder checks expectation variants are admitted, while this independent review additionally checks the exact variant required by each named workflow step. No discrepancy found. Full review bindings and explicit mappings are recorded in the adjacent JSON.
