Replace the oversized header and reference rail with stable editor slots and a retained supporting drawer. Bind diagnostic, result and menu actions to their original publication and visit; preserve effective selections on navigation and dismiss Actions, Find and the drawer one surface per Escape. Retain exact Windows source captures, eight final gates (871 desktop passes), independent reviews, native selection/rename/recovery trials and the original failures. All 526 tested inputs and staged evidence were byte-checked before commit. Combined preview integration and packaging remain with issue 27; Linux remains paused.

Bounded disk and native checkpoint audit
Read-only audit, Codex-9e8r6t /root/native_archive, 2026-09-13. No deletion, moving, application/oracle execution, build, shared target/cache change, WSL or VPN inspection. Initial C: free space was 704,417,792 bytes. Native evidence bindings are in disk-native-audit-bindings.json (SHA 9deb82aa82d39326cfd3502e12cec9d56af9cc13add6f24983cb6712f6bbcaab).
Small bounded capacity candidates
Only the following four root-owned, completed packaging-adapter staging copies are proposed. No directory-wide cleanup is proposed.

All four were independently streamed and hash-compared with retained authoritative binaries under the main repository: .local/source-rename-integration-20260912/attempt-8/arcadia-studio.exe and .local/source-rename-server-build-20260912/attempt-1/arcadia-server.exe. Retain those authoritative files and the release ZIP. One GUI staging copy yields 113,883,648 bytes; both staging pairs yield 307,074,048 bytes, bringing the initial free amount to 1,011,491,840 bytes before other writes. This does not guarantee the next build's peak-space requirement.
Producer 1's adapter-result.json closed at 2026-09-12T23:27:17.884787Z with failure and original readback true. Producer 2 closed at 23:33:38.653595Z with success and original readback true. The versioned harness/experiments/source-alias-rename-package-20260912/evidence.zip (ca5c42cd6aa1a88dffbce8dbf12c9da67f2e3015b9359146566493435bcbb17f, 2,223,405 bytes) preserves producer receipts, logs and manifests while excluding binary payloads. The staging paths remain historical references: record deliberate duplicate disposal and retained replacements if the parent reclaims them; do not rewrite those originals or imply their paths remain populated afterward.
These paths were created by this root's finished adapter jobs, not shared compiler targets or peer work. A targeted Win32_Process read for only arcadia-studio.exe and arcadia-server.exe returned no processes. No later use/ownership was assigned in this root's coordination. This bounds current-use evidence; it is not proof that no arbitrary external future reference exists. Parent must perform the actual final readback and disposal receipt. No files have been removed by this audit.
Do not reclaim trial-text-1/bin, authoritative gate binaries, unique raw logs/source archives, registry/toolchain caches, shared targets, or the verified package extraction used by historical runtime/native receipts. Larger raw source streams and old trial duplicate executables exist, but involve additional provenance decisions and are unnecessary as the first recovery step.
Issue 13 comment 814 evidence check
Read the actual comment 814, launch/closure, saved verifier receipt and stdout, and independently inspected stored images 009, 013, 024, 027 and 028. The trial contains 28 capture metadata records and 30 JPEG files; this audit did not inspect every JPEG visually.
No substantive acceptance overclaim was found: the comment explicitly calls the trial partial and reports a real failure. Image 009 supports the 486 px editor extent; image 013 supports a 306 px editor with the 180 px drawer. The visible minimum capture is 1102×732 including frame, consistent with the parent's 1100×700 client report. Frame/client distinction must remain explicit.
One precision note: image 013 shows three complete result rows: one declaration and two uses. The next use is at the lower edge. “Three complete reference rows” is reasonable shorthand for the results pane but must not be restated as three complete lexical-use rows. The screenshot visibly shows a captured alias, 1 declaration/10 uses, and a six-result participants group.
Image 024 shows the malformed oa_cooa_contact_probentact after Find Close; image 027 shows the direct control yielding oa_contact_probe. Image 028 shows the original oa_contact and “All changes saved.” Stale retained references remain visibly labeled. These support the reported behavioral difference; the specific Iced selection-kind cause remains the separately attributed source diagnosis, not something an image alone proves.
Closure records PID 2272 exit 0 at 2026-09-13T02:55:30.057373Z, zero-byte stdout/stderr, unchanged binary and DLL comparison. The launched GUI binding is 666afa8747588bbd4e4d8e4059f443dedda1fc42244d467df8d953085707e796, 114,164,224 bytes. The saved oracle receipt passes; its stdout says exact model/identity/30 reachable sources. This audit additionally rehashed all 37 current physical work files against the receipt. It is saved-baseline evidence, not proof of an unsaved GUI model or of every intermediate action. The comment's absence-of-Save/Apply statement depends on the parent's recorded input history, not only these screenshots and final disk bytes.
No fresh native Find fix, complete popup/group-retention sequence, rename transaction or release acceptance is claimed by this audit. Preserve the failed probe and direct control alongside the eventual corrected trial.
