Package46 evidence collection plan
Collector authored for parent review; do not execute until parent explicitly
confirms that native/reopen/model work and any last receipt writes are complete.
Destination is the new directory
harness/experiments/save-diagnostics-package-20261001/raw.
Parent owns the authoritative summary, final review, staging/commit and release.
The collector requires a fresh destination, extraction identity, both normal
desktop exits with empty streams and unchanged package, all eight phase receipts,
23-check server PASS and complete model-oracle PASS. It preserves source bytes
before/after each copy and writes scoped -text attributes, collection receipt
and exact evidence inventory. A failed copy remains visible; no automatic deletion.
Included unchanged bytes:
- Preparation/extraction/build/source snapshots, packaging log, precheck, this plan and collector; all exact task-specific preparation/launch/oracle scripts.
- Full prepared provenance, including original donor package metadata and recovered public manifest/recovery receipt plus all 18 selected original files.
- Package manifest, dependency notice inventory, documentation closure, checksum inventory, archive checksum sidecar, START-HERE and notice index.
- Server smoke raw HTTP requests/responses, Unicode/CRLF source fixtures, acknowledged envelope, process/output/result receipts and exact run script.
- Native observation, completed independent review, validation-warning raw responses/results/streams and exact warning/reopened-byte check scripts.
- Both native capture/session directories, all phase receipts, captures, empty streams and final process records; completed parser-model request/response envelopes and logs.
- Seven pristine non-source companions to reconstruct the complete 37-file phase oracle. Thirty source texts already survive in full request envelopes; no redundant complete saved fixture copy is required.
Excluded: packaged/downloaded ZIPs, EXEs, DLLs, stage/extraction trees, server stores and working fixture directories. The original ZIP remains a release artifact identified by hash, not duplicated in source control. No original scripts are rewritten to appear portable; paths document actual execution.
Readiness after parent update: 19 captures intentionally live under
qa/native46/captures, including the later captures 15-18;
qa/reopen46 separately preserves its watcher and complete 37-file byte oracle.
Warning validation preserves the pristine context issue and adds only the
expected trace_drift / OaChanged warning after the declared rename, with
both projects valid. All these records are existence-gated before destination
creation. Independent review must exist and parent must explicitly authorize
collection before running. Screenshots prove only what they depict;
byte/model invariants and action observations are separate.
Terminology: source-inputs.json snapshots 637 tracked repository source and
documentation inputs. package.json maps 559 selected package inputs; generated
metadata/notices/checksums produce 565 final bundle files. These are different
inventories, not contradictory counts. The seven companion files and 30 source
files describe the tutorial fixture, not either package-wide inventory.
scripts/package46-helper-review.md is preserved as historical text. Its report
that original donor paths are missing remains true; its then-unrecovered-byte
limitation is superseded by the later immutable public recovery receipt and
18 portable originals retained in provenance/. Do not present that historical
note as the final donor-evidence availability assessment.

Force-add is necessary for ignored raw .log evidence; first inspect the packet
inventory and source-control diff. Parent performs staging, not the collector.
The repeatable verifier validates exact raw filenames/hashes and optional index
bytes, maps source snapshot entries to the identified Git tree, and optionally
checks current checkout source bytes. It recomputes all 37-file native phase
expectations from pristine request source plus companions and the declared
single Activity-name/external-comment transformations; it compares complete
model envelopes, not just selected fields. It never runs captured code or apps.
Later source changes may intentionally make --current-source fail; the pinned
Git-tree check and evidence verification remain available without that flag.
Index verification is meaningful after staging. The final fresh critic should
review both this verifier's coverage and parent claims; the collection author
also authored preparation and cannot be the sole independent final reviewer.
