Lifecycle Clippy correction — 2026-09-11

Owner: Codex-ytr83r /root/windows_release_gap_review, narrow root follow-up.

Root reports strict workspace Clippy ended101 at16:20:34UTC. Read .local/ytr83r-workspace-clippy-api-correction.log: the sole reported error is clippy::collapsible_if at crates/oa-desktop/src/behavior/scenario/workspace/tests.rs:757, in the arcadia-studio test target. The containing module is gated by #[cfg(all(test, debug_assertions))] in workspace.rs:684.

Changed only the reported message-collection helper in scenario_workspace_scaled_and_scrolled_scene_keeps_clicked_slots_and_message_endpoints:

-                ) {
-                    if let Some(message) = action.into_inner().0 {
-                        messages.push(message);
-                    }
+                ) && let Some(message) = action.into_inner().0
+                {
+                    messages.push(message);
                 }

The canvas update still runs exactly once per event; into_inner still runs only when update returns Some, and a message is pushed only when the inner message is Some. Event construction, coordinates, input, assertions and source/history expectations are unchanged. No lint suppression or assertion weakening.

Readback verification: reverse-replacing the single exact corrected hunk in memory reconstructs the original complete file SHA256, proving no unrelated bytes in that file changed. The file retains LF line endings; an initial comparison that assumed CRLF did not match, and the exact original-LF reconstruction did match.

Only this test file and this new report were written. No production bytes changed. No Cargo/compiler/test/rustfmt/native/Git/index/WSL action was run. Root owns formatting/strict-Clippy rerun and any further verification; this source correction is not a new passing gate or native acceptance. Linux remains paused under the user's existing instruction.

Root verification

Root ran the corrected full workspace/all-targets strict Clippy gate: exit0 at16:45:59.383UTC,1216.612seconds. The specifically affected workspace regression then passed1/1 (674 filtered), exit0 at16:56:53.069UTC,408.285seconds. Scoped rustfmt check passed before that test. The SA archive preserves strict-Clippy logs/status; the closed pre-header-correction archive preserves the affected-test logs/status. These gates predate the separate production header correction.
