Independent packet readback

Read-only audit of the frozen ordinary-source8 packet. Only Git/data inspection and independently written inspection snippets were used; no archived helper, compiler, application, CLI or debugger was executed. This report is outside the ZIP.

Verified evidence

All ZIP CRCs, exact member names, sizes and SHA256 values pass.123 members match their original local files; four patches match actual immutable Git diffs; the implementation note matches its final Git blob. All ten readable review/checker mirrors match archive/original bytes. The nine baseline full/list/fmt members also match the prior immutable acceptance ZIP, SHA256 2f5e0c5257eba11908b60e02b76d529fcd53f11edd057c859d3cb1b34f41d7c4.

Independently checked2,799 declared Git blobs across five source input sets: baseline559, and560 each at33b86,520e50,0c07 and7b06. All560 final working input files match final Git bytes. The entire0c07→7b06 Git delta is exactly r3_migration.rs plus its implementation note; among declared inputs only the migration test differs. Component reuse is therefore accurately distinguished from rerunning all gates at final HEAD.

All31 Cargo receipts (three baseline plus28 new) bind their raw logs, input manifests, captured launchers and unchanged source/head. Parsed raw outcomes equal recorded outcomes. The historical failed r3 receipt retains its two expected launcher verification failures; it is not treated as successful. Final core raw/list inventories agree at298 passes:276 prior passes preserved,16 former failures now passing and six added tests, using only the two authorized exact name mappings. Focused7 includes six new tests plus one renamed existing control.

Selected integration list/outcome/artifact pairs agree:60 passes across six targets at0c07 and five r3 passes at7b06. Current core, selected integration and CLI artifact bytes match their actual receipt hashes. Core artifact is43,324,928 bytes, SHA256 b2261dd9168eaa582d478d4989610b37a5c13cec3f42ec93b5c651c2f3c190e9. Both actual CLI receipts bind exact stdout/stderr and unchanged input inventories. Independently reconstructed complete preview bytes by the two literal declaration/reference replacements; only children.arcadia and participants.arcadia change in the report, with comments/quoted references retained. No write invocation is claimed.

Strict Clippy exits0; both format logs remain byte-identical to inherited c1c6b12861c8117ce6ffc6d6742ebf92618aafb10160ec6f99d370ca72ebab2d and are correctly reported as failures. Initial33focused5/1,520full294/4 and0c07r3four/one are preserved with actual logs/receipts. README/STATE/DECISIONS correctly limit claims to ordinary compatibility, explicitly describe local-only status and component reuse, and leave typed adoption, depth128 and Linux qualification open.114 relative links in packet Markdown plus STATE/DECISIONS resolved before adding this report.

Initial documentation finding (resolved below)

The archived failed checker bytes and their hash are preserved, and their sole difference from the corrected checker is the project-comment literal. However, CHECKER-NOTE states that the failed literal was161 bytes with double-mojibake prefix c383c2a9c3a2e282acc2bac382c2a8. Independent ast.parse of the actual archived UTF-8 Python bytes, without executing the checker, yields153 bytes and prefix c3a9e280bac2a8 (the three characters U+00E9, U+203A, U+00A8). The corrected escaped literal yields the actual149 bytes and e99ba8 Unicode prefix.

This discrepancy concerns the diagnosis narrative or identification of the executed predecessor, not the successful current fixture comparisons. Parent and evidence author were notified. Before final packet acceptance, reconcile whether the preserved source is the actual executed predecessor and explicitly correct the153/161/prefix statement. Preserve the frozen ZIP and the initial failure; do not relabel the transcribed traceback as redirected raw stderr. All other checks above pass. Final acceptance is pending only this evidence-description clarification.

Final corrected packet — accepted

The author confirmed that the preserved failed checker is the actual executed predecessor. The153-byte literal is correct;161 came from a later default-encoding diagnostic read, not Python execution. Corrected CHECKER-NOTE explicitly preserves and explains this mistake. The parent selected a replacement packet; the entire first candidate, including its ZIP/manifest/README and this initial readback, remains under .local/ordinary-source8-packet-first-candidate-20260925. No runtime checker or product was rerun for this correction.

Final ZIP is1,220,828 bytes,128 members, SHA256 879ec5a2198898a8a6d792d163710ca1d6ca83f8e7773ee093dcc93456c77378. Independently compared both archives: identical128-member inventories; exactly one payload changed, reviews/CHECKER-NOTE.md. All127 other payloads, including source patches, raw gates, failed/current checker bytes and successful readback, are byte-identical. Rechecked final CRCs, all member sizes/hashes and ten readable mirrors; corrected note also matches its original review file. README changes only archive binding and explicit erratum. The evidence checks above therefore carry to this corrected packet without a broader rerun.

Disposition: packet audit passes; no unresolved finding. This accepts evidence integrity and accurate scope, not new runtime/platform/publication claims. Parent retains integration and publication ownership.
