Source bebf9f594c6722200e95e92be2734acbea0dd700, worktree .local/rs;581 source inputs unchanged. Authorized existing root target cache was used after root compiler gates closed. Preparation revision2 SHA256 244c6d45b47d1c2c3b69703a31616a0557d31bec3684f688c0e9a25268acb2aa records this before execution; portable357 red overlay remains unrun by parent decision based on independently confirmed native440 failure.

Failure is app::source_rename::tests::preview_scroll_tests::details_remount_restores_wheel_offset_before_any_rescroll at test line458: stored preview_offset114.09999 differs from widget-operation measured offset114.0. This assertion precedes the Details transition, so the run does not yet exercise the new before/after return assertion. The preceding interaction/camera/allocation/complete-Evidence assertions passed in this first iteration. The four preexisting preview tests passed.

Source diagnosis: locked Iced0.14.2 src/scrollable.rs:1739 Viewport::absolute_offset returns the fractional absolute state. Scrollable::operate lines551–558 sends State::translation to the operation; that translation explicitly rounds its vertical component at1901. Thus114.09999 versus114 is a distinction between raw report and visible translation, not evidence of lost scroll. Proposed correction is test-only: capture the actual report value, assert its rounded value equals the measured translation, assert the form retains the exact report, and retain exact before/after visible-position equality with no epsilon. Production restore behavior is still unverified by the new test and native candidate run. Source correction authorization/review and fresh frozen-source admissions are prerequisites to continuing.
Parent authorized that bounded correction, now committed as feab2020d8 atop bebf. Exactly one test file changes (+10/-6), with no production mutation. The report must be finite and positive; its rounded mapping and both stored-state comparisons are exact. The original visible before/after equality, no-rescroll ordering, stale reports, boundary invariants and explicit reset assertions remain. Rustfmt and diff checks completed; no new compiler/test invocation occurred.
Fresh .local/rename-scroll-gate-preparation-r3-20260913 pins feab and fresh *-feab202 stems. Manifest SHA256 6a4a832a1da55d0f02bef0e7c682bd51a0d9ae370429136638ecbc28e8401545; expected config SHA256 963de41fc05471713627cf3571b3b071c68ff731a3f620753f6eb61411a319c8. It preserves the original preparation and failed bebf receipts. All feab gates remain UNRUN, awaiting parent source/preparation review before a new listing.
