Checkpoint source 7 workflows and in-progress diagram authoring redesign
Preserve current core, source, REST, desktop, recovery, documentation and validation work, including AGENTS.md and the development summary. This is a work-in-progress checkpoint: the new compact palette has outstanding compilation errors and native acceptance; earlier passing gates retain their documented scope.

# Source7 checkpoint inventory audit — 2026-09-07
Read-only Git/fixture/link audit around08:16UTC. No staging, commit, production edit, Cargo invocation or VM mutation. This report is the only new file written by this audit. **Checkpoint readiness is conditional on the remaining affected checks; no release acceptance is claimed.**
## Branch and integrated baseline
HEAD remains `4b6b5fc1977523e8cf52fdd5503a0a71c87a3f63` on `codex/release1-continuation`, after `2b2d2bc` and integrated `c091f80e6ecf90e9aa6f13ec6fd34924c5ef55de`. The index is empty. No remote fetch or mutation was performed.
`origin/codex/data-contract-integration` is an ancestor of HEAD. Original state branches are not literal ancestors, which must not be mistaken for missing implementation:
| Original contribution | Already integrated evidence |
|---|---|
| State integration `a8f451ebae85cd4a56ff8a152ea737c260129e44` | `git cherry HEAD origin/codex/state-integration` marks both camera316dc55 and acceptancea8f451e patch-equivalent; integrated equivalents9118218/c5276b1 are ancestors ofc091f80. |
| State core `a63654f78217f9250a149ea4f505ab9d5ed5db43` | Adapted state-core commit `e7a8163` is an ancestor ofc091f80. It introduces the persisted state model/projection/reference/routing/session/validation paths and744-line state-diagram tests. The original is not exact patch-equivalent, consistent with the earlier adapted/tree audit. |
Retain the existing integrated checkout; do not merge or replay those old branches merely because `merge-base --is-ancestor` returns1 for their original tips. The prior [branch audit](release-branch-integration-20260906.md) remains the broader semantic/hosted/data lineage evidence. This review independently rechecked the specific state seams above, not every old branch anew.
## Pending commit scope
Before adding this report, inventory contained **92 modified tracked files and41 untracked files,133 total**. No tracked deletions or staged changes were present. Counts are a point-in-time working-tree inventory, not a frozen commit manifest.
| Review group | Files in inventory | Intended scope |
|---|---:|---|
| oa-core |39| Operation identity, caller-context topology/analysis, source7 admission/migration, references/lifecycle, transitions/semantic facets and meaningful contract tests. |
| oa-desktop |43| Contextual/scenario authoring, exact operation controls, qualified navigation/routing, forms/semantic composition, traceability view, old5/6 recovery and raw-draft tests. |
| oa-server |12| Runtime/schema/HTTP source7 parity plus the private cfg(test) prepared-candidate evaluator replacement. |
| docs |5| API/language reST and their checked-in HTML, regenerated OpenAPI JSON. These are intended generated deliverables, not temporary output. |
| examples |5| Current release1 example/generator/readme schema7 alignment. Existing legacy examples and frozen source6 fixtures remain separate. |
| harness |27| Decisions, tracking, scoped runtime/review reports, native/recovery generators and frozen native payloads. |
| Root metadata |2| README and exact-fixture `.gitattributes` additions. |
No Cargo manifest or Cargo.lock change is pending. Scanning all133 pending files by extension and PE/ELF magic found **no executable, DLL, PDB, log, archive, QCow2, object or rlib candidate**. `git ls-files` likewise found no tracked exe/dll/pdb/rlib/qcow2/log. `.local` and the target/dist build trees remain ignored. The largest pending file is the expected `docs/openapi.json` (359,757bytes); no unexplained large payload appeared.
### Untracked modules must accompany declarations
**Do not use a tracked-files-only commit:**15 new Rust files are currently untracked. Their declarations/explicit paths exist, or Cargo discovers the integration-test file automatically. Omitting them would produce a non-buildable or silently reduced test checkpoint.

The untracked recovery fixture directory, native fixture directory and harness generators are also compile/test inputs: include them with their consuming code. Confirm the complete explicit inventory before any eventual commit, rather than treating untracked reports and production modules as one disposable category.
## Exact source and historical fixture protection
All seven pinned payloads were independently hashed against their manifests:
- Native `expected-baseline.json`, `project.arcadia`, `rationale.arcadia`: exact size andSHA256 equal `harness/fixtures/source7-native/manifest.json`.
- Historical source5/source6 model and bundle JSON: all fourSHA256 values equal `recovery/fixtures/profiles.json`. Independent byte-wise FNV-1a equals source5`31b56f1d17c2d9cf` and source6`88c1149e445e8676`.
`git check-attr` reports `text: unset` for every payload. The inherited `eol: lf` value does not reenable text conversion when text is explicitly unset. Pending `.gitattributes` adds exactly `crates/oa-desktop/src/recovery/fixtures/*.json -text` and `harness/fixtures/source7-native/** -text`; include those rules in the same checkpoint. Existing `crates/oa-core/tests/fixtures`, `harness/fixtures/release1-native` and `harness/fixtures/interface-operation-probe` have no pending changes. Inspected migration-test edits change current output expectations toSCHEMA_VERSION, not frozen old input bytes.
Ordinary Markdown/reST/JSON/HTML CRLF normalization notices are expected under repository text rules; they are not evidence of protected-fixture damage. The full current `git diff --check` completed successfully. After staging is eventually authorized, independently read the staged fixture blobs and repeat manifest/FNV checks before commit; no staged-byte result exists yet.
## Links and evidence wording
All ordinary local Markdown file links in pending Markdown resolve. Both generated HTML files have no missing local href/src files or same-document fragment targets. This is a local-link check, not a network-link or general prose-path audit; ignored task-local evidence paths remain local evidence rather than distributable release assets.
One minor stale sentence remains in `harness/fixtures/source7-native/README.md`: “Prepared, not yet natively accepted” predates the now-recorded Reset/ReadStatus and OA persistence passes. The baseline itself must stay frozen. Before checkpointing, clarify that sentence as fixture provenance and link the scoped [native acceptance report](release-source7-native-acceptance-20260907.md), which correctly leaves contextual rendering and other cases open. Do not replace it with an unqualified accepted label.
## Next verification and commit boundary
The Windows433core/55server/561desktop plus strict/build results scope the prior6BAB executable. Root reports three focused routing tests have since passed; that is an affected slice, not a new full desktop/native result. The private server phase/cancellation delta still requires compilation and execution at this audit checkpoint. The immutable Linux snapshot retains its reproduced504-vs-412 failure; later fixed-source tests require separate provenance. The active Linux core gate and GUI/display preparation do not confer a release pass.
Before a reviewable source7 checkpoint: finish the current bounded Linux gate; run the affected private server tests/full server targets and routing/interaction/strict checks after the resource lease; reconcile results and current native rendering/recovery outcomes in the ledgers; inspect an explicit staged diff including every new module/fixture and rerun staged-byte/link checks. Keep source7's interdependent core/source/API/desktop/recovery/fixture contract together or split only at demonstrably buildable boundaries. Evidence-only reports can form a separate follow-up commit if their scope remains clear. No branch transplant, remote publication or final package replacement follows from this audit.
