Preserve raw include diagnostic provenance and derive bands from the existing shaped editor. Retain deferred tooltip paragraphs through rendering. Include source, regression, failure and native-trial evidence; corrected native acceptance remains pending.

# Initial diagnostic native trial — independent review
|

|

Read-only review of original stored evidence, not a replay or acceptance. Trial PID 3708 ran 2026-09-13 07:32:44.503787–07:38:12.417080 UTC and its retained-child closure records exit 0, no launch-receipt error and empty stdout/stderr. Independent current readback confirms both empty log hashes, GUI bytes 114,478,080 / SHA256 4ec7a4dcd1eace2fab231132c7c7caf714a7ce94fe5272d47c5f5899ea891961, identical preserved/trial bytes, current hard-link identity, and DLL SHA256 f45604a12e8bcd839fd86f667c1be1cc7c4f9da2b3c69ff381ac708f0e1ae7d4. The recorded process exit is evidence from the launcher; no process was launched or controlled by this review.

Viewed the original JPEGs 008-missing-include-pointer-probe, 009-missing-hover-settled and 013-included-overlap-blank-details. Both missing-include captures show a red underline beneath the include statement and a large blue-gray tooltip rectangle with no visible text. The settled capture reproduces the blank content. Capture 013 shows orange underlines across the two raw function declarations, including wrapped description rows, with a larger blank tooltip rectangle. This is a concrete native tooltip rendering failure, not complete annotation acceptance. The images alone do not establish its internal cause; the reported WGPU paragraph-lifetime explanation belongs to the implementation investigation.

Missing captures visibly report 1 error / 0 warnings, while capture 013 reports 0 errors / 5 warnings and “Included files loaded; existing drafts retained.” The saved CLI oracle reports two missing_include diagnostics (disk discovery and compiler) on the same include range; this review does not assert exact UI/CLI diagnostic-count parity. Complete saved CLI diagnostics contain five warnings: missing_system and two pairs of unallocated_leaf/work_without_behavior_context. Their declaration spans are consistent with the visible broad underlines; this is not an independent pixel-by-pixel geometry proof.

Independent complete physical membership and SHA checks pass: trial work-fixture and current-oracle-1/complete each contain only project.arcadia (144 bytes, 533b17d74f37ca0b6ac5c3b9fba70306849120548153e52577e8dce94684805b) and functions.arcadia (1,126 bytes, 59e44537ffafcb572853140f1d2a7a8eb0812d1d7f5fc524ce11c54c49808e8c), exactly matching the oracle's prepared complete map. Original missing/include fixture membership and bytes remain identical to the oracle receipt. Both oracle raw stdout/stderr pairs match their recorded hashes. This establishes saved-byte equality only. Parent reports the only fixture change during trial was copying functions.arcadia before Load includes, with no editor edits or Save/Apply; unchanged disk bytes cannot independently prove the absence of transient edits or transient-model equality.

The trial folder contains 19 JPEGs and 15 metadata records; this focused visual review inspected the three named original images, not every capture. Exact capture/metadata, launch/closure/oracle and fixture bindings are in native-initial-review.json (SHA256 045ea8c24e1b9c2c7dc0f38dd1e92b135528d69faf7f87d813e7f2df9f31b00a). No source edits, Cargo, CLI/oracle, GUI, or archive operations were performed. A corrected-build native tooltip check remains necessary.
