# Cross-branch continuation — 2026-09-06

|

The user explicitly requested accounting for completed work on other Git branches.
|
|
|
|
## Verified repository state
|
|
|
|
The initial checkout was `codex/behavior-draft-lifecycle` at `ea2e8e9`.
|
|
Its ledgers substantially predate the integrated implementation. Independent
|
|
ancestry, patch-equivalence and production-tree comparisons established:
|
|
|
|
- `origin/codex/data-contract-integration` at `c091f80` is the integrated baseline.
|
|
- `process-direct` and `scenario-direct` are ancestors of that baseline.
|
|
- State core and state Windows/Linux integration are included, with later fixes.
|
|
- Every hosted-desktop contribution is patch-equivalent to integrated work.
|
|
- Semantic-review's core and review UI subtree match the integrated baseline;
|
|
apparently unique commits were adapted/cherry-picked equivalents.
|
|
- `data-linux-review` has identical production code; its evidence is historical.
|
|
- `transition-probe` adds isolated experiments, superseded by production schema 5.
|
|
- The initial behavior draft lifecycle commit is patch-equivalent to integrated work.
|
|
|
|
Continue on `codex/release1-continuation`, created from `c091f80`. No remote push
|
|
was performed. The duplicate state implementation started before this discovery
|
|
was preserved in a named Git stash, not applied to the integrated baseline.
|
|
Do not revive its obsolete static-canvas audit or replace the established renderer.
|
|
|
|
## Current environment, distinguished from historical evidence
|
|
|
|
This checkout is `C:/Users/User/Documents/Git/ARCADIA-Studio`. Historical
|
|
`D:/CodexBuilds` artifacts, original Windows user paths and WSL distributions are
|
|
absent on this machine. Prior verification records remain scoped evidence; their
|
|
binaries and native windows cannot be assumed to exist here.
|
|
|
|
The combined global build-tools installation command was rejected by automatic
|
|
approval review as blocked by policy. User-local Rust 1.98.1 gnullvm and portable
|
|
LLVM-MinGW 20260826 UCRT are installed under ignored `.local/toolchain`, without
|
|
changing global PATH or installing system components. `.local/toolchain/env.ps1`
|
|
selects that toolchain and `.local/target-gnullvm`. Workspace test compilation
|
|
succeeds. The first desktop run has 420 pass/9 fail; fixes and native acceptance
|
|
are in progress. A GNU normal-user executable manifest fixes Windows error 740
|
|
on installer-like test filenames. New evidence is separate from old binaries.
|
|
|
|
## Next work and ownership
|
|
|
|
Root: synthesis, app lifecycle wiring, recoverable checkpoints, builds/native QA.
|
|
Home worker: Home/recents, navigation/view module; root owns app.rs.
|
|
Semantic worker: Annotation/Binding review in semantic_review modules.
|
|
Review worker: recovery design and verified missing typed StateAction card details.
|
|
|
|
Release remains incomplete. Preserve the integrated state/scenario/process/data/
|
|
hosted work and address remaining graphical parity, recovery and native acceptance
|
|
gates in PLAN.md rather than reimplementing accepted foundations.
