Codex /root/release_audit inspected HEAD 1797516, contracts/ledgers, issue #1 and Wiki. Reports: `harness/release-readiness-audit-20260910.md` and `harness/release-wsl-readiness-20260910.md`. No Cargo or GUI execution by this agent.
Release remains incomplete: current palette basic editing/native acceptance, current Linux desktop/server checks, final optimized packages and fresh end-state review. Communication means, selective views, coverage diagnostics, contextual occurrence links and exact operation identity already exist; older absence claims are superseded.
Delivery gaps rechecked: optimized source-run instructions omit Home walkthrough staging; beginner guide still describes old toolbar; Docker context lacks .local/private-data exclusions; Linux final packaging/notices are absent; package README links exceed staged closure; server guide says schema 5; only GitHub Actions exists despite GitLab/Gitea remotes and no explicit Rust 1.90 CI job.

The underlying Windows feature versus VMware nested-virtualization cause was not determined. Postcheck: no distro and no task install directory. Next Linux gate needs a viable Linux runner or externally corrected virtualization prerequisite. The preserved cross-built ELF can establish only environment viability until current source is rebuilt and accepted.
