Codex-9e8r6t /root. **Paused for the user's requested machine reboot. Full OA/SA release remains incomplete.** Resume from [RESTART_HANDOFF.md](../src/branch/codex/release1-9e8r6t/harness/RESTART_HANDOFF.md), then current STATE/PLAN/TASK_LEDGER and issue 1/2 discussions. No local worker, test GUI or compiler remains running.

Codex-9e8r6t /root. **Resumed after the user enabled virtualization. Full OA/SA release remains incomplete.** Current STATE/PLAN/TASK_LEDGER supersede the historical [reboot handoff](../src/branch/codex/release1-9e8r6t/harness/RESTART_HANDOFF.md). At14:30 UTC supported local Ubuntu26.04 installation started after nondeleting compression recovered capacity. Windows focused4 waits for installation/capacity; root owns native/Git.

The reboot commit preserves two-file reviewed WIP: source-card essentials-first layout and corrected staged-owner caption. Three real Paragraph regressions are prepared. First compile failed in test helpers; corrected focused2 was interrupted before any tests for reboot. Clippy/format/new GUI never launched. These changes are not an accepted build. All 238 frozen inputs were checked unchanged; exact input snapshots, failures/interruption and process cleanup are archived in harness/experiments/contextual-source-layout-reboot-20260911. Resume a fresh focused3 label, retaining earlier records.

Postboot focused3 subsequently compiled and reached25 passes/one long-parent fixture failure before the next reboot. The initial eight repetitions did not cause the asserted overflow; a reviewed test-only32-repeat correction additionally measures actual scrollable content while retaining all visibility/footer/raw-data assertions. Corrected source SHA25685D543CC and inputs4 freeze remain unexecuted; preserve focused3 as a real failure, not interruption.

Native GUI52DE82 results are separately preserved in harness/release-contextual-source-native-20260911.md and experiments/contextual-source-native-20260911. Lifeline Save-adoption and SA Chain direct Create each pass complete Project/source/physical files and one Undo/Redo using original IDs. Machine direct Create/Save passes six exact files, and one Undo/Save passes four reachable/six physical files with only proven retained files. Machine Redo/reopen, broader cancellation/recovery and the corrected layout remain pending. The saved app was closed normally; live work is the Machine Undo state, so do not infer retained in-memory history. Archive preserves 77 original records/51 unique payloads, transparently mapping 35 source files to nine distinct byte sequences; manifest SHA256 9a2ad6fb186606ef2a4fd1101d68c8e45bc96953093670fe9451ed9fb90a2ea6. All 69 files across both new archives match their staged Git bytes exactly.

Machine direct Create/Save passes six exact files, and one Undo/Save passes four reachable/six physical files with only proven retained files. A separate fresh-profile postboot Machine Open/SA view/Save now passes the complete six-file model/source and original-ID/same-model oracle; its evidence is in experiments/contextual-source-reopen-20260911. Machine Redo, broader cancellation/recovery and corrected-layout acceptance remain pending. The new native-v2 plan isolates fresh Lifeline and Machine histories. Original contextual source df6f595 passed final focused23, guide3, strict all-target Clippy/build/format. Earlier immutable snapshot passed full675; final inventory676 was not fully executed. Root's observed Name clipping and false staged-owner warning motivated the pending correction. Save intentionally applies valid pending parent forms before writing; the fixture's staged-only Save instruction was corrected without weakening model/source expectations. The oracle's initial missing runtime DLL failure is preserved, and the unchanged evaluator passes with an explicitly scoped runtime PATH.

User issue2/comment250 permits domain-constrained diagram manipulation; arbitrary free placement is not required. Codex-956atf owns the shared canvas-shell implementation in an isolated worktree (comment261), chooser/workspace integration, and schema8/local-definition numeric core. Existing Canvas widgets/source forms do not close the requested coherent editing workflow. Numeric core checks are peer-scoped; local representation/evaluator/REST/UI integration and complete libraries remain unfinished.

Codex-ytr83r owns B4 Scene/lifetimes and the later release/Linux route. Their guest image is verified, but the normal pilot established no Linux readiness. On this local machine before reboot, WSL defaulted to version2 but listed no installed distributions. User will restart; verify Ubuntu registration and actual launch afterward, before building/testing Linux. No rejected VM workaround should be repeated.

Codex-ytr83r owns B4 Scene/lifetimes, later release and Linux packaging including CLI. Peer956/ytr report successful supported Ubuntu registration/shell on their hosts; peer956 reports guest-network provisioning failure and first schema8 gate stack overflow (issue1/comment305), with no full core pass. These are not local acceptance. On this9e8r6t host, two exact scoped cache-deletion attempts were rejected before execution. No deletion ran. Partial incremental NTFS compression was intentionally stopped; executable compression completed282 files with every SHA256 unchanged, raising free space5,297,827,840→11,777,519,616 bytes. Exact records are preserved in experiments/wsl-capacity-20260911. Local supported Ubuntu installer session32405 is now live; verify its terminal and real guest shell before claiming Linux readiness. No host security/boot or rejected VM workaround is used.

PROJECT_GOAL still requires feature-complete OA/SA, graphical/text/REST parity, strict reST/API/help, calculations/quantities/units/maintained libraries, ergonomic small/large-model workflows, current Windows/Linux execution, optimized final packages and fresh cross-disciplinary end-state review. Preserve shared work, exact evidence and concise durable history under updated AGENTS.
