When I click on the connection between process and capability and this diagram - it switches to OA view for some reason. This is confusing
Codex-ytr83r /root session 01a0d706 claims the bounded projection/navigation repair jointly tracked by #42 and #43. Intended branch codex/projection-navigation-ytr83r-20260925, based on published preview source
715036e132. Acceptance: selecting a displayed relation preserves its current view/layer; changing from traceability to Architecture remains possible with cross-layer displayed elements and preserves model content, appropriate view content and one-step history/source round trips. I will inspect existing projection semantics before choosing the precise switch contract, use independent review and actual Windows UI verification. Scope excludes peer drag repair #40, routing #32 and aggregate removal #29. Current release remains frozen; Linux pause preserved. Includes independent same-ID explicit navigation review correction and HTTP regression. First core attempt stopped on a test-only generated-UUID oracle mismatch (1 pass/1 fail); fixed explicit identities, current rerun compiling. Native evidence remains local pending consolidated publication. ac69f555fixes reviewed Properties redispatch and contextual relationship/child semantic-layer use, with source/model + one-step history regressions. Combined candidate3a7221b80cfa7924921b3b77f2dd35550247f595 adds the independently reviewed #41 icon commit; branch push/readback confirmed. Whole-workspace tests → strict all-target Clippy → native build are now running serially on frozen inputs, stopping at first failure. Earlier desktop603a59c run was deliberately interrupted before tests (unchanged tracked inputs, no passing desktop claim). OpenAPI --check --validate passed72 fixtures /205 schemas after using existing local jsonschema dependencies; first missing-module attempt retained. Actual OA-performer Add activity in SA Traceability remains an inherited unavailable menu path, explicitly outside this correction; relationship Apply keeps existing post-review navigation. 6520a89dc0establishes independent parent inspection through actual Select→Diagram messages in that test, corrects the one-line icon rustfmt finding, and adds guide text explaining preserved cross-layer view content. No other production behavior changed after the full attempt. Frozen follow-up chain is now running: formatting, all11 canvas regressions, full server suite, workspace doctests, strict all-target Clippy, native build. The failed workspace command stays failed; successful unchanged evidence is reused with explicit scope. Native candidate acceptance and consolidated raw evidence still pending.Session01a0d717 /root claims a bounded independent validation contribution for jointly tracked #42/#43 while preserving Codex-ytr83r/session01a0d706 implementation ownership. Two fresh scoped reviews identified acceptance gaps requiring verification/correction on my branch: (1) app.rs inspect_canvas_target→apply changes layer to a valid dirty cross-layer Inspector object's layer, so its subsequent canvas click can still navigate; SelectNode shares the dependency. Current tests cover clean/invalid drafts but omit this successful dirty transition. (2) model_menu enables Draw from object semantic layer, but retained canvas context dispatches Begin→Choose, whose palette gate uses displayed layer; a cross-layer enabled Draw action can silently fail. Its test installs Session directly, bypassing the real menu entrypoint. Restart also needs examination. These are source-derived findings; no failed-runtime claim yet. Test-only falsifiers and narrow separate contextual admission are being prepared; preserve explicit navigation, dirty group-selection blocking, stamped actions and invalid-target rejection.
Frozen full Windows gate chain on unchanged6520 inputs is running locally; final source/native acceptance withheld. Latest delivered Release9 native independently reproduces the original #43 jump on the exact OA ChainInvolvement in an SA Traceability view; raw evidence remains local until consolidated publication. 6520a89dc0, branch codex/navigation-validation-01a0d717-20261001. Frozencargo test --workspace --locked -- --test-threads=1now passes 2,217 tests, zero failures, eight existing ignores (desktop 1,539 pass/seven ignores); fmt passes and source inputs remain unchanged. Strict workspace all-target Clippy/native builds are still running; this is not candidate acceptance or a publication claim.The prior #43 property-draft and contextual Draw findings remain acceptance gaps despite these existing-suite passes. Independent proposed repair review also found Explorer's enabled Draw dispatch could navigate before beginning. We are preserving explicit Select/Open navigation while making Draw contextual to its eligible current diagram. Test-only falsifiers and bounded corrections are local/unapplied until the frozen peer gates close. A direct dirty-child handler risk is qualified as unreachable through the inspected current UI producers (dirty menus are blocked); it is not reported as an observed native failure. Native packaged Release9 baseline reproduced the original OA-edge click layer jump and mixed-view projection refusal, with normal process exit and unchanged copied input; candidate native acceptance remains pending. No peer ownership reassignment, closure, merge, release replacement, or Linux work.
Session01a0d717 bounded validation checkpoint, preserving peer implementation ownership. The frozen clean peer6520 run now completed: fmt, 2,217 workspace tests (zero failures/eight existing ignores), strict workspace/all-target Clippy and native binaries all exit0, with inputs unchanged. This does not close the new draft/Draw gaps.
The independently built peer GUI fd6b2f3a... reproduced the remaining manual Properties Apply jump: selecting OA ChainInvolvement on SA mixed Traceability stays in place while clean; changing its Name and clicking Apply then switches to the OA preferred view. Normal exit0, empty logs, copied binary/original fixture unchanged. Test-only baseline reproduced three layer-preservation failures, two actual stale-selection failures after the assertions were reordered to avoid a missing-feedback mask, and four contextual Draw entry failures including Explorer navigation. The populated projection regression first had a missing test import and did not run; after that test-only correction it passes one full-model/source/route conservation case.
Narrow reviewed repairs and regressions are now applied locally on codex/navigation-validation-01a0d717-20261001 (HEAD6520 plus dirty source, unpublished). Repaired fmt passes; desktop targeted checks are compiling. Fresh applied-source review reports no new bounded blocker; saved-source oracle is independently reviewed but not yet built/executed. Repaired native selection/Draw/projection history/Save/reopen and final affected gates remain required. Raw failures and actual corrected evidence will be published together; no issue closure, release acceptance, peer branch change or Linux work is claimed.

Existing tests::placement_relocation_follows_cross_layer_traceability_view expects destination SA but the new generic Properties surface restoration overrides explicit relocation. Server/doctests/Clippy stages were not reached. Inputs unchanged. Two independent source investigations agree this existing test expresses valid intent: an explicit placement Diagram change must follow its actual accepted destination; ordinary Name/position/same-owner edits retain canvas context. A narrow actual pre/post placement-owner exception with additional history/stale-hit tests is proposed, not yet applied; existing regression will stay unchanged.
Native c706 subset meanwhile confirms clean OAedge/Properties retains SA mixed/no model Undo step, valid manual and click-away Name application retains the surface and changes only the expected Name declaration/full Project, and oneUndo+Save restores all31 reachable source files exactly. Mixed Traceability→Allocation succeeds and complete P/source comparison allows only its projection field; one-step native Undo/Redo saved comparisons are exact. First native process closed normally0, empty logs, copied binary and original fixture unchanged. Fresh-process reopen is underway. This scoped native evidence does not excuse the workspace regression or establish corrected release acceptance; all raw evidence is still being consolidated.

Synthetic fixture is a screenshot approximation, not recovered user source; no unsaved RAM/native Draw/palette/placement-relocation acceptance is claimed.The c706 workspace failure already recorded remains a blocker; no release/closure. Local-only source review of the narrow relocation exception found no production blocker; strengthened test controls are being prepared, then a test-only baseline precedes applying production. The narrow correction now compares actual pre/post placement owners, including resulting UUID, so an accepted Diagram move follows its destination while ordinary Properties edits retain the saved view. Original existing test is unchanged. Fresh independent review of all555 frozen archived inputs found no source blocker. Corrected targeted gate is ongoing; only fmt is complete. No corrected runtime/build/issue/release acceptance is claimed. Tests, applied review and raw failures remain local-only pending versioned evidence publication; peer ownership is unchanged.
Earlier c706 native Draw additionally exercised both opposite-layer directions on the retained mixed canvas, refusal/restart/Escape, exact whole-Project creation deltas, saved one-step Undo/Redo, and projection/source conservation. Independent visual review corrected one claim: refitting restores the Interaction label box to the viewport, but text remains ellipsized; expanded tools also narrow the canvas. These known readability/layout limits remain open. That historical c706 executable still has the workspace relocation regression and is not a release candidate.
