# Repair-union packaging r2 preparation
|
|
|
|
Root authorized this fresh attempt after reviewing the first attempt's evidence-format failure. Original root `../native-repair-union-33e30c1`, original adapters, `package.claim`, transcript and failure record remain unchanged. No earlier artifact is overwritten or relabeled. Source and version stay `33e30c1cd7a6c99513a0ebd02ba68fccbad8f58d` and `0.2.0-preview.canvas-repair.20260912`.

## Why r2 exists
|
|
|
|
The first adapter attempt ran from `2026-09-12T11:20:16.4739578Z` to `11:20:19.1526932Z` and failed before Cargo metadata, package staging or extraction. Exact dictionary comparison rejected only PowerShell's lossless spelling normalization in the preserved Clippy record:

Actual first-attempt [failure](prior-attempt/failure.json) and [transcript](prior-attempt/package-transcript.log) were copied byte-exact; hashes are in [preparation-inputs.json](preparation-inputs.json). Original terminal/preserved status files are untouched.

## Narrow correction and review
|
|
|
|
[adapter-delta.diff](adapter-delta.diff) is the complete old-to-r2 script delta. Preflight adds `canonical_gate_status`: it accepts strict ASCII `YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SS[.1-to-7-digits]Z`, validates the calendar/time, and right-pads only `started_utc`/`completed_utc` fractions to seven digits. It does not parse fractions into Python datetime or lose the seventh 100 ns digit. All other dictionary fields, gate names and source/build/binary guards are compared unchanged. It normalizes copies, retaining raw status objects in evidence. Package and extraction helpers only change their private output-root names. Launcher is byte-identical and derives its root from its own location.

|
|
All twelve targeted checks passed, including equality for a trailing zero, a distinct seventh fractional digit remaining unequal, raw input preservation, changed non-timestamp fields remaining unequal, and refusal of invalid dates/times, non-Z timezone spelling and more than seven fractional digits. [Exact checks](timestamp-checks.json). Both Python scripts passed AST parsing; both PowerShell adapters passed parser inspection. No GUI launch or package invocation formed part of these checks.

## Dispatch commands
|
|
|
|
Run from `C:/Users/User/Documents/Git/ARCADIA-Studio` with PowerShell 7. Full default preflight is read-only; packaging still requires root review and a separate dispatch:

The full read-only preflight **passed exit 0** at `2026-09-12T11:25:17.0737434Z`, started `11:24:37.2600077Z`, stderr empty. Raw stdout, stderr and terminal status are retained as [full-preflight.stdout.json](full-preflight.stdout.json), [full-preflight.stderr.log](full-preflight.stderr.log) and [full-preflight-status.json](full-preflight-status.json). It verified all530 files /9,727,025 bytes against working source, current HEAD60f7148 and exact33e30c1 raw objects; known server component reuse; all four matching terminal gates; and preserved Studio/runtime copies. GUI is `504862533CAAD919912E40C89BED4B1E43BA98138C42085480602A0A21FFF658`,113,049,088 bytes. This is not packaging or native acceptance. No `-Package` invocation occurred within this preparation task; root will dispatch it after review.
