At the moment, the 'OA <-> SA traceability' projection looks like exactly 'All relationships' projection
I see two variants:

  1. The purpose and function exist, but not implemented yet
  2. The purpose and function ARE implemented, but they are very unclear to a new application user
Either way the issue should be addressed

Codex-ytr83r/root claims the bounded traceability-projection comprehension/workflow outcome on a distinct remote work branch codex/traceability-view-ytr83r-20260923, based on published b8685416f5. Current #31 and related #30 have no implementation claims. #23 source/native work is complete locally and its portable evidence publication is being finalized separately; #16/#27 ownership remains Codex-956atf.

Source diagnosis: Traceability already admits placed OA and SA elements and draws their semantic trace links alongside ordinary relationships. Changing projection neither creates counterparts nor places absent endpoints; a single-layer view can therefore look like All relationships. The selector/guide currently do not explain that prerequisite or distinguish the diagram from the separate Traceability review page.

Scope: compare concise contextual explanation/navigation with an explicit existing-counterpart reveal workflow; preserve established mixed-relation and explicit-semantic-link contracts. Acceptance will cover no traces, missing/hidden endpoints, both endpoints visible, ordinary OA/SA edges, and multiple counterpart relationships; verify that the user can understand and display/inspect correspondence without silent semantic creation. Any placement behavior needs exact view/source/Undo/Redo checks. No traces-only default, forced column layout, core semantic rewrite or blanket native acceptance is implied. Initial work is design/source inspection; implementation and actual Windows verification follow the selected bounded approach. Linux remains user-paused.

Codex-ytr83r/root checkpoint: independently compared a new scoped counterpart browser with improving the existing placement path. Selected the smaller existing-path change first: projection-local explanation and actual projected correspondence-line count, visible Add existing/Review layer traces/View visibility actions, and All compatible types by default only for Existing in Traceability views. Semantic traces, mixed ordinary relationships and saved filters remain unchanged. A richer browser remains a contingent usability improvement if the native task demonstrates a need.

Review found a concrete second defect: Show in this diagram could switch to an opposite-layer preferred diagram before placement. The candidate preserves the validated captured mixed view; tests cover all eight diagram/app/element-layer combinations, real menu invocation, whole-Project delta, exact source Undo/Redo and stale/pending refusal. Review navigation resets only transient layer-trace query/filter through existing guards, retaining property/source drafts.

Local-only candidate4fbdf6f385fa268d41074459f7a4728e5e1e9b11, not yet published/accepted. First identified gate atbfc2598 stopped on two new test-code compilation issues (Element type shadowing and optional enabled menu action); these were corrected without production changes or weakened assertions, and raw failed receipts retained. Full Windows desktop tests, strict desktop all-target lint and matching build are rerunning. Core/server/dependency trees are unchanged from prior verifiedb868. Native fixture B/P passed preliminary same-core validation; actual final-build placement/visibility/reopen workflow remains pending. #23 source/evidence handoff completed in1046/#27-1048; Linux and integration ownership remain unchanged.

Codex-ytr83r/root checkpoint: source candidate17f1f89fef4a6bf520f4b09a2116548b967d030e is now pushed on codex/traceability-view-ytr83r-20260923; remote design-note blob13f7642698401ecad140f156f35fe47e369f25d5 matches local. Source/design are reviewable; this is not native acceptance or an integration handoff.

Final-03 Windows desktop suite completed: 1216 passed, 0 failed, 6 existing ignored, exact source inputs unchanged. Corrected all-eight-layer-combination placement test passed. Prior final-02 (1215/1/6) is preserved: its test overconstrained app.layer, expecting an artificial prior perspective after existing RevealInDiagram correctly synchronizes it to the captured view. Captured diagram/target were correct; correction retains full Project/single placement/alternate-view checks and adds selected-node assertion. Production source did not change for this repair. Earlier final-01 test-code compilation failure also remains recorded.

Strict lint/build are still running; native trial has not launched. Independently reviewed preparation fixes expected complete B/P states before input, allows only one fresh placement UUID and a predeclared ±1-world-unit initial position box, then requires exact Undo/Redo/reopen. Actual UI comprehension, line visibility and window-space checks remain pending. #30 is separately claimed in1061 and source work is isolated; no second compiler or GUI. Linux remains paused and shared integration/release ownership unchanged.

Codex-ytr83r/root checkpoint at pushed 17f1f89fef: final Windows desktop gate is complete—1216 tests passed, 0 failed, 6 ignored; strict desktop all-target Clippy and matching GUI/evaluator builds passed. Final source/config inventories remained unchanged, independently reviewed. Core/server/Cargo trees remain identical to the previously published b868 verification; no new Linux claim.

Native verification is in progress, not accepted yet. The new explanation/count, Review layer traces action, initial All compatible types chooser, and missing-endpoint visibility reasons have been observed in the packaged Windows build. First Save As attempt used a filename colliding with the generated traceability module; app refused safely, no destination/model checkpoint was produced, and the failed observer record is preserved. A fresh run with a distinct entry filename saved successfully.

The saved model is a multi-file source bundle. Review caught that the old single-file evidence evaluator rejects includes; no semantic checkpoint or model placement has been accepted. A separately reviewed read-only bundle converter will feed the unchanged full-Project B/P oracle. This corrects evidence capture, without changing product source or expected acceptance states. Native receipts and review records are still local-only until the complete portable handoff is published. #30 implementation remains isolated and untested; #16/#27 ownership unchanged.

Codex-ytr83r/root completed contribution, ready for Codex-956atf integration review. Source: 17f1f89fef on codex/traceability-view-ytr83r-20260923 (range above already-delivered b868541). Portable evidence: 35b11eea34 on codex/behavior-anchor-plan-ytr83r-20260912. Push succeeded and remote README blob cdd22dcd3d was read back.

Results, reproducible verification and limits. Windows: 1216 desktop tests passed/0 failed/6 existing ignored, strict desktop all-target Clippy and matching GUI/evaluator builds passed, exact inputs unchanged. Core/server/Cargo trees equal prior verified b868; no fresh full-workspace claim.

Native workflow passed explanation/count, layer-trace review, missing-target visibility reasons, All compatible types chooser, opposite-layer existing placement in captured OA view, trace properties, Undo/Redo, Save and fresh-process source reopen. Five whole-Project checks B/P/B/P/P prove only the intended view node changes, with once-bound UUID and position; semantic data, filters and reference view remain exact. Both GUI processes closed normally, exit0/empty process logs. Eight-file bundle inventories also match at close/prelaunch/close. Independent source/build/native/publication reviews found no remaining material discrepancy within this scope.

Evidence includes the separately reviewed read-only bundle converter, original unchanged oracle, all source modules/checkpoints, 20 capture records/22 images, and retained failures. The fixture's15 completeness warnings are explicit; no warning-free or universal usability claim. Portable verifier passed470 raw originals and8274 exact Git source records with zero source gaps. All477 archive files, including100 ignored logs, were independently verified byte-exact in the staged Git snapshot. Binaries/runtime/compiler libraries are intentionally omitted and identified by hashes; this is evidence, not a runnable release.

#31 remains open for combined integration/acceptance. Please preserve newer union source-writer/stale-input and #29 selection-strip work when composing app/views/menu changes; this candidate was not tested with those later peer contributions. #30 remains a separate pending candidate, excluded from this acceptance. Linux remains user-paused; integration/release ownership unchanged.
