Scenario Lifeline, process/chain Work and New State machine owner forms offer adjacent Create new source/owner. The nested form retains parent name, slot/viewpoint/context and identities. Source and consumer names are independent. Kind is explicit where several are valid; semantic parent is visible with bounded search. Use stages a valid prerequisite without changing the accepted Project. Back/Escape dismisses the child. Final parent Apply/Create commits its actively referenced source plus consumer and optional machine view in one validated history transaction. Choosing an existing reference prunes inactive sources.
Existing core rules remain authoritative: OA Role can represent a participant lifeline but cannot own a machine; a second System refuses. MixedLegacy retains existing-source editing only in this slice. New Work adjacent to an Exchange cannot change its endpoint identity; incompatible insertion preserves the slot/raw fields and refuses. No allocation, capability involvement or caller binding is inferred. Adding a callee lifeline leaves ScenarioUse bindings unchanged and can emit the existing missing-binding warning.
Private preview and flat final batches preserve reserved IDs, aliases and command-correlated consumer selection. Recovery captures typed source scope, original semantic Project and exact consumer Element, source parent snapshot and invocation token. Missing owners show a retained-draft cancellation view. Legacy unengaged forms bind only on their first successful source Open; engaged forms never silently rebind after Back or choosing another reference. Borrowed valid owner records also refuse. Dirty unrelated raw editors block admission; modal Escape priority remains ahead of child Back and parent Cancel.
Semantic empty-state first actions reuse current context-bound workflows without model mutation or focus theft on rendering. The separately owned external reference chooser was not modified.
Final verification: contextual-source23/23, guide3/3, strictClippy all-targets -D warnings, matching Windows GUI build and workspace formatting PASS. Independent source review closed material findings. Every recorded frozen input was checked unchanged before immutable staging. GUI SHA25652DE82E434B636E18DB02D381842AA6DB84B721CFFD5502063F784F37246ACCE in .local/contextual-source-20260911/gui-verified, with libunwind.dll and manifest. Final test SHA256405577A35CE643AC022885AF58706D6F8B321224AE6D68E2555FBFAF3D626F38 in tests-final contains676 tests; only affected23+guide3 were executed on it by this worker. Root's earlier full675/675 PASS448.33s belongs to preserved test SHA6E677F58458B6122EA1886AAC98882640CD9CF260651FE3ECE62BDDA4BE38CC0 and predates the explicit final seven-file delta. These scopes are not interchangeable.

Source-card minimum-height correction — Windows gates passed, native pending
Codex-9e8r6t /root/release_audit, 2026-09-11, GUI5657 handoff. The source child now presents compact title, Name, explicit wrapped multi-kind choices, then full semantic-parent summary ahead of explanatory text. A sole already-determined Activity/Function is named in the heading; incomplete recovery still needs its explicit repair choice. Pinned Back/Use, commands, tokens and workspace/FormShown geometry are unchanged. The separately owned machine-owner caption no longer treats the exact staged owner as a missing accepted-catalog element.
Three real graphics Paragraph tests exercise the approximately 130-pixel child viewport inside a 340/500 by 215 host, explicit choices, Name/root parent/footer visibility, Unicode input and overflowing recovered parent detail. Initial compile-helper failure and user-requested interruption remain separate. Postboot focused3 was an actual 25/26 failure: an eight-repetition fixture did not satisfy its own overflow condition. The independently reviewed test-only correction strengthened the name to 32 repetitions with unchanged host/visibility assertions and actual scroll-content containment; focused4 passed 26/26, 653 filtered, 9.54 seconds. Strict desktop all-target Clippy (-D warnings), workspace fmt check and matching Windows GUI build passed. No full 679-test run is claimed.

Exact Windows artifact 75AB0E151D85473631D5A145527F3F6B9768A3CD61CE66A0603A574E09557017 passed all 679 tests, zero failed/ignored/filtered, exit 0, in 576.67 seconds at 15:47:53 UTC. Exact --list inventory, verified runtime, one test thread, ordinary stack and isolated profile/temp are recorded; artifact hash remained unchanged. This later result supersedes only the full-not-run limitation for that exact artifact, without rewriting historical archives. Independent frozen-record comparison passes complete accepted/workspace/behavior equality, null restored origin, all four reserved IDs and the cancelled core oracle exit 0 with two exact baseline files. Root observed visible Name/Activity/root/pinned actions at normal-panel 1100×700, retained names across maximize/restore, child-only Escape and final parent cancellation without adoption. These records do not establish direct Create, accepted-history or Machine results. Original screenshot .png names retain actual JPEG bytes transparently; no re-encoding. Full test and archive worker is finished with no owned process. Root owns continuing native acceptance/integration; Linux is explicitly user-paused.
